DAS NEUE ALBUMDas neue Smoke Blow Album wird„The Record“ heißen, 12 brandneue Songs enthalten, die allesamt schöne Namen tragen (z.B. „Broken Bonds Of Friendship“ oder auch „Transylvanian Frost“), und am 05.02.2010 als CD, limitierte Doppel-CD (enthält exklusiv die 1999er EP „Altamont Speedway Massacre“), Vinyl und für die neumodischen Technikfreaks unter Euch natürlich auch als Download erscheinen. Die Platte ist definitiv das härteste Album, das wir bis dato aufgenommen haben. Das dürfte denjenigen, die „777 Bloodrock“ (Anfang März 2000) und/oder „German Angst“ (Anfang Februar 2003, kamen beide auch früh im Jahr, merkst selber, ne…) zu ihren SB-Favoriten zählen, durchaus gut gefallen. 7 Jahre Angst, die 7. Platte und der 7. Februar. Letzteren haben wir nicht nur papstbedingt lediglich zwei Tage vorziehen müssen. Es passt ansonsten aber vieles, liebe Freundinnen und Freunde. Sprich: Kreise schließen sich.
Produziert haben wir das gute Stück mit freundlicher Unterstützung von Tom Schwoll (Jingo De Lunch) in Berlin, gemixt hat Alex Newport (At The Drive-In, Fudge Tunnel, The Locust) in New York und fürs Mastering machten wir uns auf zu Jacob Hansen (Volbeat, Heaven Shall Burn) nach Ribe, Dänemark. Weltenbummler, siehe Hardy Krüger!
Erste Hörproben präsentieren wir Euch auch... im Verlauf der nächsten 10-14 Tage. U.a. im Player unserer MySpace-Seite.
Eine Tour zum Album haben wir fürs Frühjahr in der Aktentasche, sämtliche Daten sollten wir bereits in Kürze bekanntgeben und der VVK startet dann auch, logisch. Dann, Stichwörter Lokalkolorit und Zelebrieringer: In diesem Tour-Rahmen gleich mit bei. Mitte April in der Hamburger Fabrik, das wollen wir schon durchsickern lassen.
Eine Show zur Album-Veröffentlichung am Freitag, den 05.02. wird es zusätzlich geben, das Ganze steigt dieses Mal in der goldenen Landesmitte und zwar im Rahmen der VISIONS-Party im neuen FZW zu Dortmund. Dass der Eintrittspreis für diese Veranstaltungsreihe bei günstigen 6,- EUR im VVK liegt, wollen wir gerne hervorheben. Und einen Tag später legen wir dann im schönen Bielefeld (06.02. - Forum!) noch nach.

It's been some months and our club tour with Tackleberry is about to start soon so SB just wanted to give you guys a little heads-up: They are still working hard on a yet untitled new record, first parts have already been recorded couple days ago in Berlin with Mr. Tom Schwoll and they are confident to finish their new studio record somewhen in autumn for an early 2010 release.
To shorten waiting time a bit, they just hit their very own "Demolition Room" studio in Kiel City to record 2 brand new songs (produced by Greif Hellhammer) entitled "War Crimes" and "Crusade Of Varna" which will be released physically only on 7" vinyl as a split single with Kiel homeboys and touring partners TACKLEBERRY (www.myspace.com/tackleberryhc) who also entered "Demolition Room" with Greif to contribute two exclusive new tracks either.
Please note that this 7" single will be limited to 500 copies worldwide and Smoke Blow as well as Tackleberry will start selling this lovely piece on tour. So better come along & be there, they will definitely present some new & upcoming album tracks to give you a first feel of what to expect in the future. Re-check their live section for all upcoming dates, especially as they won't play any more club shows this year. They would also like to recommend to use pre-sale to buy tickets especially for their show in Hamburg!

SB will only do a few shows in 2009... there will be no club-tour in the 2nd half of the year because they already started to create songs for a new album and will pay all attention to the recordings (infos and sample to follow...).
